The World Biomes
Welcome to the world biomes site created by Hailey, Sierah, Riley and Briannah. This website will teach you about four out of many unique biomes in the world; rainforest, tundra,marine, and Savanna. This site is for Milford Middle School Science and R.T.I. purposes.
Definitions
Biome
A biome is a large area on the Earth's surface that is defined by the species of plant and animals living there. It is also partially defined by the climate patterns. Some biomes include tropical rainforests, desert, woodland, grassland, tundra, and marine.
Abiotic
Abiotic is something that was never living. Examples include sunlight, and water.
Biotic
Biotic is a living, or a once living object. Examples include animals, plants, and believe it or not a regular pencil.
